The barn of chapel hill

The Barn of Chapel Hill is a twenty-two acre family farm, located only 12 miles from downtown Chapel Hill. Before 2016, the barn was located in Marcy, New York, and has been completely renovated and relocated to the family’s farm in Chapel Hill. This apiary started with two hives and has since grown to three hives and counting. Full of orchards and flower fields, these hives get the pleasure of rural space and forage while still being close to the city! Because they are a flower and tree farm that hosts many events and weddings, The Barn of Chapel Hill supports state and national efforts to protect all pollinators, however their commitment to social responsibility does not stop there. The proceeds from the honey their hives produce is donated to local children’s charities and the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.

Location: 7316 Morrow Mill Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27516
